Bones n'était pas mentionnée dans les renouvellements de la saisone 2011-2012, mais le président de Fox Entertainment a des grands espoirs que la série revienne pour une 7ème saison.

Citation :
Fans of "Bones" and "House" may not have gotten the early renewals that they've been hoping for at the Jan. 11 Television Critics Association press tour, but FOX Entertainment president Kevin Reilly and FOX Networks Entertainment chairman Peter Rice did offer the next best thing.

"I anticipate they're both going to be back," says Reilly. "We have some negotiations to go through."

Creatively, both executives are pleased with two of the networks' longest running series. In their respective sixth and seventh seasons, "Bones" and "House" still perform consistently in ratings -- and "Bones" recently got a vote of confidence with a post-"American Idol" time slot, starting Jan. 20.

"We're currently in the process of making a deal to bring back 'House' and 'Bones,'" Reilly continues. "We want them both."

We'll keep you guys updated on any news. Bones has always finished 2nd behind Two and a Half Men on their Thursday night timeslot but has fallen a bit but there is a possible yes.

Facts:

ƒá BONES ranks among the season¡¦s Top 10 regularly scheduled dramas among Adults 18-34 and its male/female components.

ć BONES ranks No. 1 in its Thursday 8-9pm time period among Women 18-34, taking the No. 2 spot among Adults 18-49, Women 18-49, Women 25-54 and Total Viewers.

ƒá BONES delivers a professional audience, exceeding its Total U.S. Adults 18-49 average among ¡§Adults 18-49 that are Professional or Managerial¡¨ (109 index).

Une fan a posté 5 raisons pour lesquelles il faut une 7ème saison pour la série:

Citation :
1. We’re dying to know how Bones is going to handle Emily Deschanel’s (Brennnan) pregnancy next season. Will there be lots of scenes with her carrying bags of groceries? Potted plants? Dead bodies? And if they don’t hide it, will Booth (David Boreanaz) be the father? So many unanswered questions!

2. This is probably disturbing, but we kinda dig the zany ways in which people die on this show. Too creepy? We take it back. Still, mad props to the writers for inventing six seasons’ worth of creative ways to kill people off. Let’s give them at least one more season to exercise their wit.

3. The first crossover episode between Bones and The Finder is happening on April 21 — and in our book, one is not enough. If the Finder folks want to cross paths with the Jeffersonian gang in future episodes, Bones must exist. End of story.

4. We’re pretty confident that Angela (Michaela Conlin) will give birth before the season’s out, meaning we’ll find out if she and Hodgins (TJ Thyne) have a boy or girl by the finale. Once that mini-mystery is put to rest, we want to see Mommy and Daddy Hodgela in action. As long as they name the baby something other than Staccato Mamba, chances are they’ll do just fine as parents.

5. The number one — and most obvious — reason: If Brennan and Booth still haven’t gotten together by the end of this season, the series must go on until they finally hook up.

Booth's Family To Be Explored??
Bones may take the leap into the dysfuncial childhood of Booth.

Bones's executive producer Stephen Nathan has revealed that Booth's family may be explored in the new season.

Nathan confirmed that an amnesia victim in the premiere will cause Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) to think about their own history.

Ryan O'Neal, who has appeared in several episodes, will be reprising his role as Brennan's father.

"We'll be dealing with an important aspect of Booth's family as well," Nathan told TV Guide. "Both of them had quite unique and difficult upbringings. It's about finding out how memories affect [them] going forward."

Nathan recently unveiled details of an "odd and fearless foe" who will face Brennan and Booth in the seventh season.

Bones will return with new episodes on November 3 on Fox.

John Francis Daley talks about the relationship of Booth and Brennan.

Bones star John Francis Daley has revealed that he expects Booth and Brennan to be in a relationship next season.

In the Fox drama's sixth season finale, Brennan (Emily Deschanel) confessed to Booth (David Boreanaz) that she was carrying his child, after the pair spent a night together off-screen.

Daley, who plays Lance Sweets on the show, told New York Magazine: "It'll be the first time that we see them in a completely different light, and I'm just speculating, but I'm assuming that they'll have some sort of relationship this next season."

He added: "It'll be interesting to see how that changes their relationship and their chemistry."

Daley also conceded that some Bones fans were angered by the pregnancy twist, since Booth and Brennan did not consummate their relationship on-screen.

"If it were an HBO show, things might have been different," joked the actor. "But they had to hide Emily's [real-life] pregnancy in the last few episodes, and I don't know how you'd hide that if they were naked in bed."

Bones executive producer Stephen Nathan recently revealed that the seventh season will introduce an "odd and fearless" new villain, and also hinted that the show could explore Booth's family.

Bones will return to Fox on November 3.

Unfortunately, Bones wasn’t able to make it to Comic-Con last week, so we’ll have to make due with the producers sharing new season 7 spoilers instead of a fun Comic-Con panel. But all it not lost, because the Bones producers have been spilling a few details about the upcoming season and David Boreanaz is also tweeting a few photos from the set.

We've already covered spoilers about the baby, the new villain and the season 7 premiere episode (read more here) and now we're going to do a spoiler round-up about the new squintern and some upcoming relationship details.

New and Returning Squinterns

Vincent Nigel-Murray was the squintern who ended up being shot and killed by Broadsky towards the end of last season (what a sad, sad scene that turned out to be!), so now there will be a vacancy in the roster of Brennan's squinterns. The TV Addict says that the new squintern will be named Finn Abernathy and is an "an 18 year old not-so-Southern gentleman. Why not so Southern you ask? Well, put it this way, he managed to get his undergraduate degree while being confined to a juvenile detention facility." TV Guide says that he's a "young, redneck genius" and while Cam is happy to have him join the team, Caroline doesn't exactly take a liking to him. We'll meet this new intern in the second or third episode.

TV Line, meanwhile, reports that Carla Gallo will be returning as Daisy in season 7. Will she be back for Sweets? EP Stephen Nathan said "Daisy can’t live without her Lancelot."

Booth and Brennan

TV Guide spoke with Nathan, who said that Booth and Brennan will be somewhat of an unconventional couple when Bones return for season 7: "They are a couple who have come together to have and raise this baby. How Booth and Brennan are a couple remains to be seen, because they're not changing who they are. Booth is the marrying kind; Brennan doesn't want to get married. So these are issues that are going to come up again and again and will be an integral part of their relationship."

Unfortunately, Nathan won't tell us exactly when the baby will be born. We know that six episodes of Bones will air in the fall before the show goes on an extended hiatus for Emily Deschanel's maternity leave, but the producers want to keep us in suspense about the baby's birth for the time being.

As for some people who may be concerned that the show will change with Brennan and Angela both having babies, Nathan said "The show's not going to completely change what it is because there are children there. It's sort of like Everybody Loves Raymond. Raymond had kids, but you didn't see them all that much, but you knew they were a big presence in their lives."

Ultimately, Booth and Brennan's new relationship will not mean that either of them are going to change fundamentally, although they will have to learn to live together as a family in spite of their differences. "They've always loved each other. The audience has always known that. But they have to negotiate all of the complexities of living together. We will see them already in the middle of this relationship. We don't want to see them buying flowers and candlelit dinners. That's not what the show is, and it's not really what most people's lives are, either."

Many loyal Bones viewers, having been denied the lovemaking scene that resulted in Brennan’s season-ending pregnancy news, hold out hope that they will see the prospective parents at some point this season… you know, dance in the sheets. But while executive producer Stephen Nathan promises that you’ll witness “affection” between the partners in crime-solving when the new season arrives Thursday, Nov. 3, their interactions will stop well short of a rigorous romp.

“No, there are many websites that you can see [sex scenes]; you don’t need to see that on Fox,” Nathan tells TVLine, addressing the hot topic. “That’s health class in junior high.”

Instead, Nathan promises that Booth and Brennan, as they anticipate the birth of their child, will demonstrate to each other affection that is “so natural and organic.” But “they’re not all over each other.”

Explaining the duo’s closer dynamic and how it might differ from some viewers’ sexpectations, he says, “This is a couple six months down the line, so you’re seeing them in a way that allows them to still disagree with each other and not be so lovey-dovey that it’s like, ‘Eh, I don’t need to see that.’ They’re not the couple you go on a date with that you never want to see again because they’re making out at dinner. We don’t want to do that.”

Thanks in part to series leads Emily Deschanel (who in real life just gave birth to a boy) and David Boreanaz — “They’re so at ease with each other,” Nathan notes — the way B&B’s new intimacy comes across on-screen “is better than I ever thought it would be,” he raves, “and I thought it would be good.”
