Des news concernant une suite de la mini-série:

Citation :
Nathan talks about it:
Around Splash Page HQ, "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" is considered one of the on-screen highlights of 2008 — right up there with "The Dark Knight" and "Iron Man." So it's pretty much a given that any time we get a chance to speak with someone involved with the hit online musical, we're going to ask about the "Dr. Horrible" sequel.

Cue our encounter with "Castle" star Nathan Fillion during last night's Cosmopolitan Magazine "2010 Fun Fearless Males" red carpet, and his hint that there could be more in store for the "Dr. Horrible" universe than just a sequel.

"I've heard some of the lyrics for one of the new songs," Fillion told MTV News. "I've heard a title for the sequel, and I've heard some great ideas. I've also heard of some kind of other accoutrements that are coming out aside from a sequel that we're planning on."
"So... exciting things. 'Dr. Horrible' [is] far from dead," he added.

As for what those accoutrements might be, Fillion wasn't talking.

"I can't. No," he answered when asked if he could shed any more light on the mysterious peripheral projects.

And he had good reason to keep quiet. According to Fillion, breaking silence on "Dr. Horrible" would ensure an untimely end via "a lightning bolt from god."

So, in the interest of protecting our Captain Hammer, we'll just have to wait to find out more... for now.

Neil talks about it:
Team Whedon's online musical "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" surprised a lot of people in 2008 when the first chapter of the three-act production went live with stars Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion, and Felicia Day. The project went on to spawn prequels and spin-offs in the comic book world, a hit album and fast-selling DVD, and as many expected, an as-yet-untitled sequel.

However, when we caught up with Dr. Horrible himself, Harris told MTV News he expects the sequel to take on a notably different form than its predecessor — namely, as a feature-length film that debuts offline rather than on the Web.

"Apparently they're making a 'Dr. Horrible' sequel — a feature film, I hope," laughed Harris. "I hope they cast me in it — we'll see."
"That's their plan," he reiterated when asked whether a feature-film was indeed the preferred format for the sequel. "I don't know of what scale. They're talking all options, because they made the first 'Dr. Horrible' in five days on no budget at all — that was its intention."

"You don't want to necessarily make the feature film be an $80 million giant movie, because it defeats the purpose of what the first film was made to be," he explained. "Then again, you don't want it to be so low-brow that it's not worth paying money to see as a movie."

However, Harris was quick to add that nothing is set in stone at this point, and he's only guessing at the plans "Dr. Horrible" creators Joss Whedon, his brothers Zack and Jed Whedon, and Maurissa Tancharoen have for the follow-up project.

"I don't know what their plans are, but I don't think it will be on the Internet," he added. "I think it will probably be a film. Now we have to figure out everyone's schedules."

With each of the principal characters in the original "Dr. Horrible" heavily involved in their own projects — Harris with "How I Met Your Mother," Fillion with "Castle," and Day with "The Guild" — the actor said the main obstacle at the moment is simply finding a time when the stars align for all of them.

Joss talks about it:
Joss Whedon is a little busy at the moment, what with "The Avengers" about to start production. But he's not so swamped that he can't take time to talk about a sequel to "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" -- which looks like, someday, that it could actually happen.

It's just a question of when.

Asked if he'd ever consider producing a stage version of "Dr. Horrible," Whedon tells The New York Times that the idea has been brought up, but "my heart is more in the idea of the sequel. We've done a lot of work on it.

"We've got several songs near completion and we've got a very specific structure. We've just all got jobs," he says, referring to himself, brothers Zack and Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen, who collaborated on "Dr. Horrible" during the 2007-08 writers strike. "And it's not like Neil [Patrick Harris], Nathan [Fillion] and Felicia [Day] ain't busy either. We get together at Christmas and family occasions, and then play each other our partial songs and go, 'Yup, that's still exactly as it was the last time we played it. We're great.' It's bad."

Whedon jokes that the sequel will be called "Dr. Horrible and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," given the difficulties of getting all the principals together. (For now, fans can peruse the recently released companion book to get their Horrible fix.)

He's also interested in producing more original content online, including an "Internet mini-thing" he's been working on with comics author Warren Ellis.

"I still believe it's a viable financial model and a creative playground, and I miss it," he tells the Times. "But in the year I that I was supposed to do that, I instead decided to make this little Sundance movie that I'm making."

That would be "The Avengers," which he's been prepping for some time now and is scheduled to start production next week. It's due for release in May 2012.
