Vous en pensez quoi d'elle ?
Moi je l'aimais bien ... J'ai surtout aimé dans l'episode 100 la rivalité entre elle et Cordelia ... On voit tout de suite qu'elle ne vont pas s'entendre , et je me souviens avoir rigoler lorsque Cordy a sortit une phrase bien poignante a Eve .

C'est vrai qu'on voyait qu'elles ne s'entendraient pas du tout.
Mais personellement je n'aime pas Eve.
Il y a pas mal de raisons que je citerai avec des scènes dépisodes mais pas tout de suite, le temps que je fasse la liste

J'aime pas trop ce personnage non plus, je crois que c'est dû à l'actrice que je trouve pas très diversifiée dans sa manière de jouer. Mais bon, j'ai jamais réussi à cerner le personnage non plus.

Moi non plus j'aimais pas trop ce perso, ni l'actrice d'ailleurs. Je trouve qu'elle n'a pas de présence. Elle faisait pâle figure à côté du fantôme de Lilah...

Puis je sais pas, je ne trouvais pas son personnage trop intéressant...

bah c'est sure que si ont comparent a lilah elle ne l'ègalera jamais..je n'accorchais pas particulièrement non plus a ce persso,elle me tappais sur les nerfs lool mais par contre j'apprèçiais son histoire avec lindsay.

J'en connais une qui n'appréciait pas du tout son histoire avec Lindsey.

J'ai jamais accroché avec son personnage. Elle était assez plate comme fille et plutôt "mono-expressif".
D'ailleurs je ne sais pas quel était son rôle exactement dans la firme et dans la série.

D'apres ce que j'ai compris , dans le final , elle reste dans le cabinet donc elle mort ou pas ?

J'ai pas accroché du tout avec son personnage, à côté de Lilah, elle était vraiment loin derrière comme Lily a dit elle était assez plate.
Elle m'énervait pas mal en fait.

J'aimais bien Eve, même si elle n'était pas des plus intéressantes... Une chose que je trouve dommage, c'est qu'ils n'aient pas abordé et exploité son couple avec Lindsey de la bonne manière. Il y avait beaucoup de potentiel, ils auraient pu en faire quelque chose de bien et finalement, ben... c'est resté assez plat !

C'est clair que la manière dont ils l'ont fait, c'était juste l'excuse pour ramener Lindsey, la "porte d'entrée". Mais bon, sans préambule ni réelle suite, bah c'est tombé un peu à plat. Et j'ai pas du tout été touchée par elle quand elle pensait que Lindsey était mort...

Eve pour moi ce n'est qu'une garce et elle ne vaut pas mieux que Lindsey je l'ai toujours detesté par son comportement et tout ce qu'elle a fait en douce à Angel.

Eve is the Liaison to the Senior Partners introduced in 5.01 "Conviction", and in that episode she is actually pretty great. Her intro scene involves Wes commenting that her role is an impressive one for "such a young woman", to which she retorts "what makes you so certain I'm either of those things?" Which, that's awesome. That is a great line, and is exactly what the Liaison to the Senior Partners should be. In terms of aesthetics she is basically an adult version of Mesektet, the little girl in the White Room in Seasons 3-4, so that is also clever. The Eve/Angel Santa Cruz magical date rape plot in 5.05 "Life of the Party" is pretty hilarious. So for a while it looks like Eve will be a good addition to the cast.

Unfortunately, Sarah Thompson, who plays Eve, is basically a black hole of anti-enthusiasm. She is a charisma void. When she opens her mouth, the energy of a scene is drawn toward her gaping maw like moths to a flame, never to be seen again. Anyone acting against her is basically hitting their head against a brick wall over and over and over again, and really has to be someone who can keep the momentum of a scene going despite anything.

So of course the smartest fucking thing in the world to do would be to have her act opposite Christian goddamn Kane. ARE YOU FOR REAL, JOSS? You might as well smack two mannequins together.

When Lindsey returns, it signals a complete change in Eve's character for no particular reason at all. Like clearly the writers just realized that what they had been doing for Eve -- just writing lines for Lilah or Mesektet and putting them in Eve's mouth -- wasn't working because Sarah Thompson is just not remotely menacing or mysterious. So suddenly she is just this whimpering, whiny little girl who defines herself as Lindsey's Girlfriend and gives up her immortality for him, and it's intolerable but at least it's simple enough that Thompson can -do- it. Her performances do get better, I will grant, once she no longer has to try to be scary. Unfortunately she is approximately 500 times more annoying.

Speaking of annoying, Lindsey comes back, right? And wants to destroy Angel. Why? NOBODY KNOWS. It is left totally unstated, since the last time they parted it was on good terms, and his explanation to Eve that he resents Angel being "given everything [he] worked for" doesn't make any damn sense because Lindsey chose to give that all away because of the evil hand incident when W&H was ready to promote him and cut Lilah's head off. So what the hell, Lindsey.

Also, his hair. Can we talk. About his hair. Who thought that was a good idea? It's kind of like in early Season Four when you are like 'who would ever give Charisma Carpenter a mom-bob with greasy blonde highlights?' and the answer is 'a crazy person'. Because Charisma Carpenter and Christian Kane are really attractive people, and yet somehow the AtS hairdressers manage to fuck it up again and again. Kane's Season Five hair is just. It's just. He looks like Redneck Hercules: The Ozark Journeys. His Season Two hair is awful also until he gets it cut around "The Trial" but seriously in Season Five I can't take him seriously in any way.

His arc finally comes to maybe make some kind of sense when Eve says that Lindsey has been studying the Senior Partners, and then in the finale two-parter it's implied that he has been trying to join the Circle of the Black Thorn. But what the hell, I am pretty sure the Circle of the Black Thorn does worse things than torture and organ trafficking like, before brunch. When did Lindsey become king shit of the evil brigade? And for god's sake, who thought it was smart to have him be the big mystery villain for half the season when the cast of Season Five consists mostly of people like Gunn and Fred and Spike who have never meaningfully interacted with him?

God.

Anyway there are a few redeeming qualities to these characters, but only in that they get totally hosed and it's hilarious to watch. Nothing is better than Cordelia calling Eve "Lilah Jr." because seriously, she is like the Godzooky to Lilah's Godzilla. So that's hilarious. And I think Lindsey's ignoble death is totally awesome, because they establish Lindsey as someone who totally believes he is Angel's dark nemesis when in actuality he hasn't been that since early Season Two and now he's just some schmuck who gets taken out by the least important character. I love that. But it also is just a profound 'what' moment, because if that's the ending then why do Seasons 1-2 spend so much time establishing Lindsey as exactly the thematic double for Angel that he thinks he is in Season Five? Does his exit from W&H just junk his destiny? Maybe. AtS is all about free choice overriding fatalism, after all.

Worst villains ever.
