Is it art imitating life, or life imitating art? Well whatever slogan we choose it doesn't change the fact that Alyson Hannigan is pregnant. Would it be wrong of me to "woo"?

US Weekly reports that the How I Met Your Mother star is expecting another baby. On Thursday morning, the magazine snapped photos of the actress sporting a baby bump under a cozy cable-knit sweater. This morning, however, Hannigan confirmed her pregnancy to the publication.

According to a friend, the actress knew about the pregnancy months ago but "wore baggy clothes to cover the baby bump." Despite the growing belly, Hannigan is "thrilled" to have another baby. The actress and her husband Alexis Denisof gave birth to their first child Satyana two years ago. The couple met while filming the television shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel.

Satyanna must be excited for her future baby sibling. Granted she all ready has some awesome playmates. Two of Hannigan's How I Met Your Mother co-stars have kids that keep her little girl company. Colbie Smulders has a two-year-old daughter Shaelyn Cado who makes the perfect playmate, while Neil Patrick Harris's twins Gideon Scott and Harper Grace only raise the cute factor.

Hannigan has yet to announce how her pregnancy will affect her role on How I Met Your Mother. Since her character Lily is also expecting, the schedule may align with the actual birth. Do you think they would be willing to film the birth and use it for the show?

The "How I Met Your Mother" actress and her husband welcomed their baby girl, Keeva Jane Denisof, on May 23.

"They are all doing well," Hannigan's representative told People magazine.

Hannigan kept the birth under wraps for weeks, but Tuesday tweeted a photo of her new bundle of joy's fist, giving the Twittersphere its first glimpse of the child. Or part of her at least.

She captioned the teaser: "Love."

Congratulations soon rolled in from Hannigan's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" costar Felicia Day. "omg so beautiful! Congrats!!!!!!" the actress tweeted.

Hannigan, 38, whose "HIMYM" character coincidentally gave birth at the end of Season 7, is also mom to 3-year-old Satyana. The show's writers covered up Hannigan's baby bump while she was pregnant with her first daughter, but worked it into the story line in the latest season.

She wasn't just sporting her baby bump in the small screen: Fans got a look at it at the "American Reunion" premiere in March.

Denisof, of "Buffy" and "Angel" fame, has appeared on his wife's CBS sitcom in the recurring role of Sandy Rivers. Hannigan met Denisof, 46, on the set of cult fave "Buffy" and married him in 2003.
