The "How I Met Your Mother" actress will be marking her upcoming 10th wedding anniversary in a big way: She'll be renewing her wedding vows!

The 39-year-old, who has been married to actor Alexis Denisof, 47, since October 11, 2003, received quite the surprise over the weekend when her hubby popped the question for a second time.


"My hubby @AlexisDenisof surprised me with the most romantic day of my life yesterday! Which included another proposal & ring!" Hannigan tweeted Sunday night. "I said YES!"

While she didn't share all the details of what they have planned for their upcoming vow renewal, their two daughters ― Satyana, 4, and Keeva , 1 ― will take part in the festivities. And there will be delicious cake.

"Now we get to have our kids at this ceremony," she wrote, along with a happy face. "It’ll be shorter. We’ll get to the cake sooner! YAY renewal!!!"

Make that lots of delicious cake. When one of her Twitter followers suggested she should get two cakes, she came back with an even higher number.

"Or 10 cuz thats the anniversary," she replied.

Hannigan and Denisof met on the set of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" in 1999 and tied the knot four years later at the Two Bunch Palms resort near Palm Springs, California. She's called him a "super-dad, super-husband, and super-man."
