On peut être fière! Dimanche dernier, diverses célébrités ont partiticipé au Nautica Malibu Charity Triathlon de 2008. Parmi elles, Eliza Dushku qui, non seulement a signé sans s'être entraînée ni jamais avoir couru de triathlon, mais qui a aussi fini 3ème dans la compétition des femmes

The Triathlon was a weekend fund raising event that partners with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

The celebrity event on Sunday featured male and female teams that competed for bragging rights and raised $127,000 for charity. The celebrity competition was not nearly as rigorous as the main event but it was definitely for a good cause. Also participating were celebrities as Jennifer Lopez, Matthew 'Mateo' McConaughey, Felicity Huffman and her husband William H. Macy, Anna Kurnikova and Eliza Dushku.

Dushku, a former smoker who'd never competed in a triathlon, finished third in the women's celebrity division (Lopez finished fifth.) She completed the half-mile ocean swim, 18-mile bike route, and 4-mile run in 2 hours and 22 minutes. "My whole family and most of my friends thought I was totally nuts when I signed up last week without any training," the actress wrote us in an e-mail yesterday. "It was pure adrenaline and making up for long lost time." As for "Dollhouse," Dushku's much-anticipated new show with "Buffy" creator Joss Whedon, the actress reports all's well. " 'Dollhouse' is NOT in danger/suffering," she wrote. "We, the network, and FOX all are PSYCHED for the next episode . . . It's beyond dope."
