"Kristine Sutherland is a veteran actress of stage, screen and television. After training at The Drama Studio in London, Kristine moved to New York, where she immediately began working Off and Off Off-Broadway, as well as regionally. Work in television soon followed and Kristine starred in several pilots, “The Art of Being Nick” (NBC) and “Bosom Buddies” (CBS) among them, as well as making guest appearances on numerous television shows, including: “Remington Steele” and “Hot Pursuit”. Joss Whedon would eventually cast Kristine as Joyce Summers (Buffy’s Mother) in the cult classic “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, a part she played to wide acclaim for five seasons. On the big screen, Kristine made her debut opposite Robert Redford and Debra Winger in “Legal Eagles” and starred as Mae Thompson in the Disney classic “Honey I Shrunk the Kids”. Most recently, Kristine guest starred in the new Kevin Bacon series, “The Following”. In addition to being an accomplished actress, Kristine is a professionally trained commercial photographer."
